Through the EDF Pulse Africa program, EDF aims to support African SMEs and start-ups in the energy transition and the development of innovative solutions for low-carbon growth. Does your company have the power to transform the future of CO₂?

Hybridizing technologies, inventing new ways of producing or storing electricity, and creating solutions to reduce CO₂ emissions and limit our dependence on fossil fuels. 

Energy efficiency and low-carbon consumption solutions

Reconciling economic development with the preservation of the planet by designing new business models for intelligent consumption and accelerating decarbonization. 

Decarbonizing through digital technology

Emphasizing the role of data and digital solutions in reducing greenhouse gas emissions and promoting sustainable practices in various sectors.

  • EDF Pulse Africa Tour

    7.09.2023 - 9.11.2023

    Companies will be invited to defend their projects before a panel of local innovation experts.

  •  Final Event

    December 2023

    After the learning expedition, the 6 finalists will be invited to pitch in front of the grand jury at the final event.

Convince EDF and join the EDF Pulse Africa acceleration program! 

 

The two laureates will receive an allocation for the 1st and 2nd prizes:

  • 20K €  and 10K € respectively.

 

They will also benefit from simplified access to the EDF Pulse Africa Accelerator, with the possibility of obtaining financing and developing partnerships with EDF Group companies in Africa.

All 6 finalists will benefit from one week of learning expedition before the final event with coaching, lobbying and networking opportunities.

Final Event

December 2023
 
On December 2023, all 6 finalists will be invited to pitch their solution at the final event. You'll be evaluated by a Grand Jury composed of personalities inside and outside EDF, this is your opportunity to convince the jury and become the next Grand winner of EDF Pulse Africa 2023!
